We really need a banner here. I was thinking something in the way of our arena & fans in background with star players in foreground. Maybe even with their motto: Be the thunder on it.

Seriously though ... here's yall's problem again ... NO DEFENSE! I might have been able to score a goal tonite on Bishop the way your D just stands around. That is TB's achilles heel for sure.

Look at the bright side tho ... yall dont have Torts as your head coach no more.

Hey guys, don't think I've forgotten about the Lightning banner. I just finished doing a banner for the Rangers and I'm in the process of working on one for the Blackhawks. I'll probably get around to doing the Lightning banner next week or so. Sorry about the delay, but I promise I'll get on it as soon as I'm done with the Hawks banner (which should be this weekend, hopefully).

Hey guys, done with the Blackhawks banner so I'm now set to work on the Lightning banner. Any suggestions? I assume you'll want St. Louis & Stamkos. Also something that alludes to the 2004 Cup? I'll try to find some cool Lightning wallpaper we could use. Maybe a picture of Tampa as well? IDK, whatever you guys want I'm open to suggestions.

I still like the idea of some of our arena & fans with "Be the Thunder!" on it. Stamkos, St Louis, Bishop are no Brainer on it & Stanley Cup or 2004 Banner would be sweet. I think Fillp belongs on it. Maybe some lightning bolts coming out of arena lights? Man, I wish I knew how to make one! looloool

Hmm, good ideas, I'll see what I could muster. I'll make a layout with some (hopefully all) of your suggestions to share with you guys this weekend. Hopefully get some more feedback. Thanks for the response.

Here's what I got so far,



I'm going to add a couple players. One of them should be Ben Bishop, but I was wondering who you would like to see as the 4th player on the banner. Someone suggested Valtteri Filppula, should I go with him, or do you think it should be someone else?

Oh wow, both banners on pg 2 of this thread are awesome! I love seeing Dave Andy hoisting the Cup in the 1st banner but also love seeing our arena in the 3rd banner! Alright, you mentioned 4 players (Marty, Stammers & the Bishop blockade) & asked about a 4th. Hopefully, Bolt, Danny & Todd make some noise here. I'd love all of their input! However, I'm going to go out on a limb & use what I thought was a great idea by Doobee. I really liked seeing Dave Andy hoisting the Cup!!!! Looks great Doob, thank you so very much!!! C'mon guys add in some thoughts please.
