We did this over at SeeBS to vote for GOAT's and sech.

I didn't quite remember all the rules we followed so I asked a few guys here on the hoop that use to post there.

I think we have it covered because I just not recall a rule like the one LRF thought of.

We certainly can consider that in future vote offs if that makes sense.

Mack was selected by the Los Angeles Rams with the second pick in the 1966 NFL Draft and played at the left left guard position for the Rams for 13 seasons from 1966 to 1978. During his NFL career, Mack played in 11 Pro Bowls and appeared in 184 consecutive games, 162 as a starter, over 13 seasons. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999. -Wikipedia

I just want to leave this here for everyone. The guy was one hell of a player and deserves more consideration before we vote him out like this...(end rant lol)

Thank you LongtimeRamsfan for that for Tommy. I went to 3 or 4 games a year back then and he should be considered one off the greatest Rams lineman along with Slater and Pace. Guys like Mack don't get the credit but as a guy who was there, I remember. Tommy's problem in this thread is 2 prone, 1 he is old school and played before a lot of us became as passionate and 2 the space needed for all to be kept here is too small to keep everyone. But if we will at least acknowledge who he was before his name goes away, even the youngest of us will know about the past stars better. Thanks again Longtime

No prob blue. I'm not old enough to have seen him play, he retired when I was 4. But 11 pro bowls is an extraordinary achievement for anyone and certainly deserves some respect...

sorry.. I voted before I read this. I agree, its tough to vote down a great player. But we only have so much room on the banner. Its not like we hate him, but something has to go. Keep in mind we are only allowd I believe 5 things in this banner, so alot will have to go before we are done.
