Nope. Avg margin of victory isn't what I'm talking about. i'm talking about putting a team away early and never looking back. Struggling through 3 quarters and then having a big 4th quarter isn't as dominant as kicking someones butt for 4 straight quarters, and having your starters on the bench for the 4th.

UO is normally pulling people from the crowd in the fourth qtr cause their fourth string is tired of playing. They've been jumped 3 weeks in a row doing that...so it can't be that. In UO's case everyone says they are just beating up on cupcakes, but for Bama, they're are just such a great team, they even have a good offense this year! Needless to say, I wouldn't shed a tear if either lost this week. I just thought it was crazy Bama has waited 9 weeks to play a decent team.

And hopefully they don't look decent either by the end of saturday night.

I could see ND getting in just because they're ND, although UO would be a much bigger problem for Bama. Having said that, I would love to see a ND Bama matchup myself.

i agree...ND isnt close to the level of Bama or Oregon...hell, they lose a game to stanford but the refs turned into stevie wonder on the last play

This whole statement is ludicrous. First of (without getting into the call itself), saying we lost to Stanford eliminates all your credibility. At worst, we would have gone into another OT period with our offense that had scored 17 of our 20 points in the fourth quarter and OT. Stanford had managed just 3 points in the second half, I like our odds to come out with the W.

Secondly, our defense is real, especially our run defense. So I would like our chances of making Bama or UO one dimensional, and see what happens from there. It will be interesting to see if our offense picks up where it left off in the OU game, if it does I'd like our chances against any team in the country.

Your defense would get exposed! Our offense faces the #1 defense in the country 5 days a week...I dont see ND being an issue.

:rolleyes2: Look at the Offenses you guys have played.

Ah, I forgot about all the offensive juggernauts 'Bama played.

ND has played tougher offenses.

Irish D Pulls Out Stops
Notre Dame's defense is making a habit of shutting down offenses coming off strong weeks this year. Saturday's result, a 30-13 victory against Oklahoma -- which was coming off a 52-7 win against Kansas -- was the latest example. Here's a look:

Game Before vs ND
Purdue 48 17
Michigan State 41 3
Michigan 63 6
Miami 44 3
Stanford 54 13
BYU 24 14
Oklahoma 52 13
