It would appear that as bad as this conference was, it has somehow gotten worse. Complete garbage.

Maybe we should have jumped ship for the BIGXII. There was very little respect for winning in this conference as it was, now there will be none. I don't know what happened.

How is LA Tech winning by 6 a blow out, while GT losing by 3 TD's not?

VT was super super thin and lost a lot of talent this past year. This season had the potential to be a bad one but we (as Hokie fans) are so used to overachieving our talent level and avoiding injuries we became spoiled. This is a 7-8 win team at best that should be a lot better in 2012 or 2013.

VT has been carrying the ACC for years....even when VT wasn't that great. This year VT is an average team. FSU looks good and Clemson is above average, but the rest of the conference has been in the same slump for the last 10 years. Really difficult to explain considering the amount of top notch NFL prospects the ACC puts out on a yearly basis. Has to be the coaching, right? I feel like Beamer is heading down the same path Bowden did during his final years at FSU.

La Tech was favored by 3 according to my Yahoo pickem. I don't think this would be such a big deal if Va Tech didn't get overrated at the beginning of the year. It's still better then the Big 10 this year

Could definately happen, but thats why they play the games. The Canes are funny, in that we don't have ups and downs week to week. We do it quarter to quarter.

Yeah, and VT is young and injured but as the season progresses they could get healthy and more mature. VT is a team that usually gets better as the season moves on. They are better than they look right now but will have to fire on all cylinders to beat the Canes this year. It will be a fun rest of the season.
