Bad News For Eagles Fans

RG3 carted off with what appeared to be a broken leg.....I said all last year I thought Kirk Cousins was the better QB, and he is already displaying that. Cousins will make Washington a better team.Also Djax got blasted and left the game with a shoulder injury.

He has looked really good since coming into the game. Could mean big things for Reed if he can stay healthy with Cousins throwing him the ball. Think we found the team who will contend with us for the NFC East title.

My opinion is the Eagles are lucky that the Redskins passed on RG3. If the Redskins would have gotten Luck, well, no need to even explain. I am not worried about the Redskins. The Eagles have some kinks to work out, however I feel the Eagles are lightyears ahead of the Redskins.

I'm VERY curious as to what you saw last year that convinced you Cousins was better? Was is the 0-3 record as a starter, the 53% completion, the 5.5 YPA or the 4-7 TD to INT ratio?

I don't care who starts at QB for Washington. that team is garbation.

Cousins is clearly better. And better DeSean was hurt he dropped a huge pass from RG3 that hit him in stride right in the hands. His injury is probably a case of acute embarrassment.

None of the above.....His moxy, his poise in the pocket, and the respect he commands from his teammates. Add in his 2012 Season where he came in and played awesome late in the season. Then you add in the fact that he doesn't get the practice time RG3 does, and you have a talented young QB with a Ton of Upside!

Interesting. I'm not saying he isn't talented. But it wasn't his 2013 performance that told me he'd be decent.

Didn't Foles leave MSU because he couldn't beat out Cousins? There's no doubt in my mind Cousins has it. RGIII.. and out is toast.

I also thought Cousins was the better QB. He seemed better mechanically to me in ever facet.

The Running QB (for lack of a better word) tend to have injury plagued careers. It does not matter how much potential RGIII has if he can't stay on the field.

If what I am reading is accurate then I would have to say yes. I have read anything specifically that says that was the reason he transferred but it is obvious. It also shows how good a decision it was because both QB's are in the NFL.

The irony in all of this is that Foles did not even win the starting job initially in Arizona (if wikipedia is accurate) because the coach at the time wanted to start a "dual" threat QB. That guy did well initially but struggled after a couple games. Foles was inserted and never looked back.
