This is going to be a real tough decision for some teams. We may just be one of them:
Will someone roll the dice on Gareon Conley being cleared?

Looking at that list, DB, DB is definitely in play the first couple of roundsAt the bottom of that story was our list of pre-draft visits. Can you say DE-FENSE:

It's funny with DB, but once you get past the first few guys you can make an argument that the next bunch can be ranked in a lot of different ways. We could get an end of the second round DB that we have a first round grade on and absolutely love. I don't see that quite as much with DL. Which is another reason I hope we grab a pass rusher we love in the first and go DB in the second.Looking at that list, DB, DB is definitely in play the first couple of rounds
If the story about him playing in September he will not make it out of the first, in factvif the story isctrie he will be gone before the 28th pick.If there in round 3 then take him. I want 3 of 1st 4 picks to be secondary.
Of the names we keep hearing as possibilities and listed by fans and "experts" in mocks...am I the only one who is very, very nervous about the possibility we take TJ Watt? I know it's not really fair to him, but I keep thinking that if his name was TJ Johnson he wouldn't be talked about as a first rounder. I know he had a huge year this year and once you show an ability it's yours to keep, but if you take away this years tape, is he even draft-able?
If he drops to round two, I'm all over him like Aaron Hernandez on prison junk...but round one, I'm going to be torn

I like Watt, but not like I like some of the other edge guys. Watt's injury history alone should curb his hype. I don't look at the name and assume he's great. But I do assume he has a great resource to get info from. If we decide to trade out of #28, we could do a lot worse than land TJ. With TJ you are projecting growth and development rather than seeing it on the field during college.
if you look at them and are really honest Watt and Bower are about the same player with Derek Rivers not far behind. I don't think Takk will be their but if he is I honestly think they pass because of the injury and go with Watt or Bower with the Dark horse pick being Rivers. I could honestly see them picking a CB at 1 if they have 1 rated way above the DE's that are left.
And on Conley he says he is innocent. Don't know and it wont get fixed by tomorrow night, but he is dumb as a box of rocks for putting himself in a situation that will cost him Millions.
As the saying goes "Nothing good happens after Midnight" and this was at 3 AM WTH?
If I am Jerry I give a 1 million dollar donation to the Dallas r*pe Crisis Center with Charlotte Jones announcing the Donation tomorrow morning. When Conley is cleared you Donate another 1 Million if he is found guilty you donate the same 1 million again. Either way a good organization gets 2 million in funds. and that's even if Dallas does not draft him.
I roll the dice If I believe him but that's a big kahuna dice roll
With most prospects you can watch year to year and track their growth as players. With TJ, his 2016 was lightyears better, so you can't expect that same growth curve to continue. In regards to his injury history, I read he injured both knees and had surgery to repair both. Not necessarily a red flag, but it gives you pause enough to worry about it.I'm only vaguely familiar with Watt's past injuries. Was the last time he was actually injured in 2014? Rehabbed and recovered from that knee injury in 2015, came back mid season and has been healthy since? I don't know about anything prior to that. Fill me in?
Definitely projecting growth with Watt, has only played a season and a half as as an edge rusher. Very productive in 2016, so to say that we haven't seen it yet is a little inaccurate, but I understand that it's not a lot to go on. He has elite athleticism and the traits you look for in a good edge rusher. Looks pretty lean at 250lbs, should have room to fill out at 6'5".
I think Watt can come in right away and help on all 3 downs, and in time will grow into the weak side pass rusher Dallas has been missing since Ware left.
I hope you are right because I think he is going to be there when we are on the clock and my gut says we may take him, but I'm not sure about the "productive college player". He had one great season and since only one great season only like 4 or 5 sacks against top teams. Does that make him a productive college player or a guy that had a good year? And I don't like the Von Miller comparison. Miller might have had the quickest first step in the history of the NFL draft. So a "similar athletic profile" may not mean much without that insane first step in comparison. I also don't like that he is only 243 lbs.TJ Watt is the guy I want in round 1. Hyper-athletic -- has a similar athletic profile to Von Miller -- with a long rangy frame, and plenty of room to add bulk. Was a productive college player, and can get after the passer. Can play SLB on early downs if needed. No injuries and a good pedigree. I'm all in for Watt at #28. If Watt is gone, I'll settle for Takk McKinley.
If it's a DB at #28, I like Kevin King.
Not sure how anyone would know that, but from Walter Football round 3-5:Larry Ogunjobi
when is he projected to go in the draft? Does anyone know?
that would be awesome time to take a DT that might possibly disrupt from the middle. Not sure how anyone would know that, but from Walter Football round 3-5:

Somebody else to look at that I like is Tanzel Smart out of Tulane he is a 3 tech and a bit undersized but he is quick and can get to the QB perfect guy for Rod IMHO should go in the 5th but if he is still on the board in the 6th I sure look hardLarry Ogunjobi

But, If the scouts like him I'll be fine with the pick, but...I'll still be a little nervous.
