The comish has done some really great things for the conference and has also seemed dumb as a dick ring sometimes (thinking the Rose Bowl is more important than the NC comes to mind).

Now we have the conference saying that they won't schedule any more FCS schools. That the "nonconference schedule in our league is ridiculous". Ummm, check the noncon schedule of the national champions (and many other SEC schools). The champions noncon included a weak Michigan team who they absolutely throttled, then WKU, FAU and WCU (That's The Western Carolina University Catamounts, BTW, an FCS school).

I don't disagree that the noncon of our con is a joke. I do disagree if you think it matters. It matters only because the conference isn't that good. Get good as a whole, or at least as a quarter, and then shut up. Just be good and win games. And Never lose to a fucking FCS fucking school if you think it's so ridiculous they're on the schedule.

Just get good please.

I guess they think getting good means doing the opposite of the best conference in America instead if emulating them.

What if they choose not to because they want an easier schedule so they can go to a bowl game, and because they want to play at home because they make more money with an extra home game? And they decide to wait until the last second to schedule it and drop your game?

I'm not sure not scheduling FCS teams is a great idea for the B1G. I think it does nothing except hurt FBS schools. For a majority of teams in the B1G, playing Akron is no different than playing Northern Iowa.

There's plenty of really bad teams out there to pick from in DI (missouri for ex.). If the sec still feels the need to schedule community college teams then thats up to them

Its the smart thing to do financially. It cost UNC $350,000 to schedule Elon. It cost Ohio State $850,000 to schedule UAB. For most teams there isn't much of a competitive difference playing an FCS team and low level FBS team. They're pretty easy wins regardless.
