Game Thread: AZ @ Oregon

This is it! Unlike Corvallis (who couldn't manage to show up with more than 60% capacity), MKA will be rocking for this one. We need to focus on finishing strong, and leaving the Pac tourney for next week. It will take a good game to beat the Ducks, because they will try to throw everything but the kitchen sink at us. Looks like rebounding was the only real reason why the game was so close (FG% and FT% could have been just a bit better). Our defense was not as sharp, but we can't get outrebounded by 9 against the Ducks and expect to win.

Really looking for AZ to bring it on Saturday!!!!

Ducks have won 6 in a row, are at home this time, and while I think they are probably in the tourney even with a loss, there would be no doubt with a win. So expect their A game and then some.

I think the Oregon State game will be a wake-up call for them. It was the first time this year I saw them get cocky. A lot more smiles and laughs than usual and that killer instinct seemed lost for most of the game. Shouldn't happen against Oregon.

Let's spank the Ducks. There should be no lack of motivation for this one, as, like CTP said, that place will be rocking. Oregon is not a good rebounding team, we need to focus on cleaning up the glass and getting out in transition and we will win. If we for some reason fail to do that this one will be a lot closer than it should be.

I think its sold out too. Probably going to be a fair amount of red in the stands.

Well... I guess Kansas is out of the running for a #1 seed. Can't lose to a 17-14 team down the stretch.

Even if Arizona manages to lose this game today against the Ducks, which is possible, if they win a game or more in the Pac12 tourney they are almost guaranteed to get the #1 seed in the West.

That is really all that matters, playing the first 4 rounds in southern California is invaluable.
