Our Defense is holding up somewhat for not having their top 3 guys in it. Edler is in good form of a couple years ago.

perfect time for a week long break so the d can get healthy because the cracks were starting to show in the 3rd. Alberts over 21 mins last night ... he played well but in the 3rd with Rome it was tough sledding ... cant keep pushing guys to play more mins than they are capable of

I haven't got much of a read on Parent yet. I guess that's a good thing.

it doesnt help that he's paired with Bieksa ... I think it was first period where Parent was deep in the Canucks zone in the corner, with lots of time and no forechecking pressure, and completely rifled a missile up ice, cross rink to I think Malhotra at centre ice and it was a good foot off the ice the entire way when it hit Malhotra in the shins

what the hell is Malhotra supposed to do with that ... Parent seems like a very nervous player
