Anybody else think we did ok with the Peavy trade? I mean i had seen Garcia play before his time with us and thought he would be great. I love Peavy but man can Avisail rope the ball.

I think you guys did okay. But I think Peavy was a great add for Boston. And I'm lovin Iggy. This could be an excellent trade for all three clubs.

peavy would be short term valuable (what boston needed) ... garcia obviously long term valuable. both teams made out well here (double good for the sox cause they dump peavy's salary in addition to getting garcia.

Hated to see the Tigers trade him away. Happy with Iggy but I really believed he could be a five tool guy for the next 12 years.

Hated even worse to see him stay in the same division.
