Avengers 6: Secret Wars (2027)

Marvel just announced Avengers 6: Secret Wars at SDCC 2022.

It will be released on Friday, November 7, 2025 Friday, May 1, 2026 Friday, May 7, 2027, following Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty Doomsday, which will be released earlier the same year one year earlier!

This is what everyone said the MCU was building too it’s just odd it takes place in Phase 6. Also 2 Avengers movies in the span of 6 months seems like overkill. We at least got a year between IW and Endgame.

They gonna take care of Kang and go straight to Dr Doom? That's nuts. Though FF comes out a year before so I'm sure Doom will get some appearances before Secret Wars.

It does seem crazy to me that Phase 4 has been plodding along for 3 1/2 years and then it’s like boom, Phase 5 comes at you for about 17 months and we’re on to Phase 6.

Yeah, they kept saying Phase 4 was building to something, but if it did, I've missed it. It's introduced some characters for later, but there isn't much connective tissue. I don't know if they had a plan in mind and course corrected to something else or what.

Well, it won't be such a short time gap anymore! Looks like Marvel has listened to the fan and media feedback on this one:

It could be good. The books were good. Especially the original Secret Wars. That gave us the suit that ended up being Venom. Might depend on if they use the source material. God Emperor Doom could be a great character. Secret Invasion’s writers admitted they were told not to look at the source material. The result was a not very good series.

With Kang getting booted, God Emperor Doom is a strong possibility.
