Allot of people forget Marty got hurt.but if you pay close attention to his form before the injury as opposed to after he became a little more tentative.if it was as simple as age and rest he got allot of that last season with the Olympics.I think he's had a little mental block going that the team ahould address wth him but when dealing with a player of his stature how do you do that without damaging his ego.

Age does slow reflexes though and he has shown in a couple of games that he isn't as quick with his glove as the Marty of past. Can't remember if it was that elbow he injured but I think it was, which could also be the cause of being slower with the glove.
Yes it would be a bit difficult to deal with the mental block without upsetting Mr. ego!

It was the elbow on his glove side unfortunately I was at that game.actually happened right in front of us.I know it was against Atlanta can't remember who took the shot would be kind of weird if it was kovy though.

Yep, it was his glove hand elbow so that could def be a factor in the reason why he's not as quick with his glove. Just confirmed it here:

Another good point you brought up he could have scar tissue or arthritis from the surgery effecting his elbow as well.I know I have it from surgeries,

Good point. Never thought of that.
I do not want the age thing to hit King Marty so suddenly. He still has a couple of years on his contract.
