The ONLY people who like St. Louis are from there or have never left.

Also, I met a guy in Green Bay once that said he vacations to STL every year because it has the best italian food and is the mecca of baseball.

You're missing the 2x cost of living, 100 degree summers, traffic and waiting to go everywhere you want to be and everyone being totally fake.

Not to mention costs of education and the state being bankrupt.

That 2x cost of living is usually offset by 2x salary, just sayin'

Before anyone attacks me for being pro-LA, I live in Western NY, where the taxes are as high as Cali for no reason AND the weather sucks. My family and job are here, so so am I.

I can tell you right now that MULTI-NATIONAL company I work for (A Bank) does not give a COLI if I take a job in So Cal...and unfortunately your scenario is normally the exception rather than the rule. If I make 35k in Mizzourah, I will make 35k in So Cal....

STL sucks. Sorry it's just the Midwest vibe versus the beach vibe. No offense

Meh you can keep your shark invested water and your quick sand. I'm swimming in my cow trough.

I'm talkin about East coast of Florida. Not Cali.

But I'll take palm trees over snow and grouchos all day.

No worries. A lot douches in STL. Lol. Pretty big douche vibe in the Lou

Better chance of being struck by lightning than bitten by a shark btw. Nothing like surfin. But I know STL has the muddy river.

And it never hits 100 on the easy coast of Florida. Atlantic winds bring a cool breeze in the summer. Doesn't hit over 95 plus you have a breeze. STL is on a sweet river basin! No wind.

Now hear this: leave St. Louis before it's too late. :)

I get where KSU would be upset since he lives there. However, his comments about going to SoCal vs staying at home would probably be similar if you truly love where you live/grew up.

A lot of people have deep ties to where they are from, and I'm sure that is where Pettis is coming from. It's a lifestyle thing. He probably loves all the things about LA that everyone else hates that aren't from there.

I grew up in Cali but now live in Idaho. However, I still have deep ties to SoCal where I grew up ( hence my love for the Angels, Lakers and Rams ). Even though I live in Idaho, I didn't stop loving my Rams to become a Seahawks fan because they are the closest pro team.

Pettis probably doesn't enjoy the lifestyle in the Lou vs LA is all. I understand that. It's two completely different cultures and some guys adjust ( Elway comes to mind since he stayed in Denver vs going back to Cali ) while others just long to be back home- back to their norm.

I honestly don't think he meant any disrespect by it KSU. He just misses home. I could be wrong, but I think that is what he was getting at. He just didn't explain himself properly.

Well there are alot of people clamoring for the Rams to move back to LA including former players like Vince Ferragamo and Jack Youngblood.

Sounds like you work for the wrong company then. 35K is barely enough in Missouri.

Well retro, the difference is Youngblood and Vincey never played for the St Louis Rams nor have they ever said anything bad about the city or its fans like Pettis has...this is simply the final straw

Arbitrary number shopson my boy, arbitrary number. You did not think I would disclose my salary here did you?? LOL

Clayton do you not care that Pettis has bad mouthed the city of St Louis and its fans for the entire 3 years he has been here?? This to me was just the straw that broke the camels back so to speak.

Its funny that one of the reasons the Rams drafted him was because he interviewed well.

I'm not going to buy his jersey or anything but Pettis is slightly underrated by the Rams fan base. I think he is alright. Just not a #1 guy.

For those of us not from St. Louis, I don't really care if he bad-mouths the city or the fans. I care more that he isn't talented enough for a bigger role; he seems to be a 4th receiver for this team.
