Austin Davis Appreciation Thread- Henry Kreiger-Coble activated

With Derby and Virgil both likely to miss the game.. Former Hawkeye Henry Kreiger-Coble has been activated. Joining former Hawkeye AJ Derby (who then transferred to Arkansas) on the roster...

Lots of Hawks on this Denver Bronco team. I think they have had as many Iowa players this year as they did their entire franchise leading up to this year. Seems like a trend where teams really grab Iowa players. Colts and Patriots are famous for it... I wonder if we have joined the pipeline, it might appear so.

I sat by Kreiger-Coble's parents a few times at Iowa games... Very good family, very happy with them. They come from a very historic sports family. Cousins to current Iowa TE George Kittle who will be drafted this year. George's dad and Henry were both on Iowa Rose bowl teams. Cousins to Iowa legend basketball player Jess Settle. George and Henry's mom both played professional basketball as well.


Also signed to the PS if Wisconsin TE Austin Traylor.

Well this makes a lot of sense. As much as I was maybe hoping we would cut a certain WR Austin Davis is a very logical choice. No team is going to pick him up this late into the season so if we have a QB injury we should be able to bring him right back.

Glad to see HKC getting his shot. From what I understand he was the 54th man on the team when we did cut downs. The Coaches wanted to find a spot for him as he was making quite a few plays in the passing game but figured they could sneak him on to the Practice Squad. Well HKC welcome to your first game and it looks like you will get some opportunities.
