Which Broncos and Coaches are mostly to make the news:

Peyton Manning - because he is Peyton Manning
Von Miller - Big Personality - MVP of the Super Bowl
Coach Wade Phillips - most likely to say something funny
Aqib Talib - No stranger to the camera
John Elway - because he is John Elway
Malik Jackson - Also a big personality
Bill Kollar - He wrestled a Bear for cripes sakes.

DT plans to take along a hand written thank you note to the president for his mother's release. That should get some attention.

That's a very good point - I saw where the president commuted 44 more drug sentences yesterday - it is sure to get a mention.

Or to Dallas night clubs in the middle of the night. According to Lindsey Jones he isn't expected to make the trip.

Last I knew Malik was going to be there, has there been a change?

Brock couldn't get the White House to offer $73 Million for his attendance (and he doesn't particularly care for the White House offense).

No clue, don't really care to be honest. lol

I still like Malik but I wasn't really looking forward to it.

I was being sarcastic being he is no longer one of us, but he always has a place in our heart, and a great memory in his 4 years and the a SB TD!:)

I know Omar Bolden will be there.

I assume Trevathan will be and all of Mingo's other friends.

Evan Mathis is the only other non-Bronco that will not be attending. He has mandatory Mini-Camp starting and said he needs to be there for the physicals. Sounds like a pretty lame excuse just like Osweiler's.

So from what I have heard right now Osweiler, Mathis, and now Talib are the only 3 from the team that are not going to make it.

Close, but no Evan Mathis either. Was invited but declined due to Cardinals OTAs.

Close but it is Mandatory Mini-camp that he is not wanting to miss.

"The Broncos graciously extended an invitation for me to join them at The White House on Monday, but due to a scheduled OTA in Houston, I feel it is important to be at practice with my new teammates. It's a new offensive system for me and every practice and rep is important. I am very appreciative of the Broncos wanting to include me on this special day."

You can choose to believe him or not, but the Texans are having an OTA today.

I was speaking about Evan Mathis with the Cardinals. Most teams are starting Mandatory Mini-Camp this week. Some are still doing OTA's though.

Also kind of a cool note. The rookies for the Broncos since the rest of the team is out of town are doing some community service projects with their day off. Good to see the team still finding ways to give back.

Since I'll never be in Brock's shoes, not sure what I would have done.

Do I honor the teammates I was with? Or do I show leadership and show up to work with my new team, even when everyone knows I would have a legitimate excuse not to be at practice?

Honestly I would have went. No guarantee that you get to go back. So truly could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. I don't think your teammates will lose respect for you for missing one OTA practice. For a veteran honestly might be more important just to be studying the playbook anyway. So he could be studying the entire way up and the entire way back and it be a more fruitful day for the team and him. Throw in the fact you get to then come back and tell your teammates of the experience and tell them that they have a mission to get that same experience for themselves.

So basically Osweiler doesn't have the mental fortitude to coexist with his former team for a little while.......

I think this is one of those situations where he feels like he burned a lot of bridges when he left Denver. He cut off communication with the coaching staff and his fellow teammates a little while after the season was over. Not exactly the best way to keep up friendships with those that you are leaving. Then you throw in the reports that he told his agent shortly after getting benched in the San Diego game for him to get him out of Denver no matter what again just shows the guy had mentally checked out of Denver.

I will say this Elway honestly is probably not the easiest guy to work with. He has the highest of expectations of everybody he works with and doesn't hold back if he doesn't like what he sees. Heck we heard of him getting into it with Fox, Gase, and Del Rio at different times before this past season. I do wonder if Osweiler is still good friends with Elway's son after all of this.
