It's "Randy Quaid in Major League II" Syndrome. Everything sucks until it doesn't and then suddenly it's "I always loved that guy". The up and down nature of this board is why I'm not on here anywhere near as much as I used to be and why I don't bother to post in series/game threads until a game is actually over. It's not like the team hasn't earned the skepticism or even the defeatism at this point, but as an eternal optimist myself, it's still depressing as hell to read.
