Love what Beane's done over the last few years, but I never really understood this move. At least the A's didn't give up much. Weeks had a decent rookie campaign, but he was awful in 2012. He's played 3 games for the O's this year and is batting .279/.394/.397 as a 27-year-old in AAA. David Freitas has been struggling over the last 1.5 seasons (batted .231/.306/.368 last year as a 24-year-old and is batting .216/.303/.344 this year). He was blocked by Norris/Jaso/Vogt anyway.
