For the record, due to personal health issues, I am not too sure how much longer I will be able to post here but I do want to just say that this group of guys/gals, especially Bossman, have really been a joy for me. I want you all to know how much I appreciate being a part of this. Thank you all for being a great bunch of cool and classy posters. It has really helped me enjoy the NHL season and playoffs more than ever and I will always be greatful for this.

I take part in OT topics... I'll talk hockey on Pens specific boards or on the phone with friends.

This place, like e*pn, are just boredom cures for me. I know, I'm an ass, and either you like me or you don't and I have my own private island on this forum... so it's all good.

Let me be more specific, for my own mind... I view the internet as a place to pass time, a boredom cure, not just here... I have a hard time feeling any connection to people that I will never meet or know nothing about. I'm on my own little ass island because I'm not looking for virtual friends... that is why I say a boredom cure, like now, just waiting for the wife to get home. I'm typing more for me than for anyone else really....

I waste time on other sites as well... When I need a break from the day, I'll turn on the television or read some message boards, brainless activities that provide entertainment. I'm not internet savy and some folks on here are, and can pull out some good stuff... like that ralph machio (sp?) thread... I got a good laugh at the clip. I would never of found that myself. So I stop by, see what's up, maybe post...

you don't use this place to waste time? i'm sure you come on here when you are bored as well.

I'm sorry you feel that way. To be honest that's why I left the swamp and to say it happens here may be true at times but nothing like it did over there.

Do they have more hockey topics and post? Sure they do, but look at the topics and go five deep into the topic and it turns into an OT or name calling same ole same ole BS.

I don't care about numbers it's quality I look for.

I hope you reconsider and it may help to look at the NFL board there, Football? what's that?

As far as hockey.....
I checked it out a couple of days ago and saw at least five MD topics bumped to show he was wrong. That's not talking about the sport that's trolling and something I am glad we have very little of here.
