I have another complaint about TLR - Ruiz always follows Rey Lopez to the mound - different names, but essentially the same pitches.

This reminds me of Maddon walking Corey Seager with the bases loaded earlier this year (also did not work out). Wonder if we look back at this as the foundation for firing TLR.

Yeah, allowing him to step down to avoid the narrative that he was fired is the only way I can see the team parting with him. The only way I think he gets dismissed is if the players revolt.
