After seeing the Clippers go for 2 billion, I can not think how much the Mike Miller dump last year and the Joel Anthony salary dump might end up staying in the mind of Lebron. For everyone crying a river for the poor owner, keep in mind that the Heat were bought in 1988 for 32 million. Assuming a heavy, heavy discount and no King James, that means the team is worth north of 1 billion. Great return even if you say the team lost money in 24 of the the teams 26 years.

The millionaires took a pay cut last time, Miami Dade County and the taxpayers of Miami are taking a hit. Now, Lebron would argue and so should most Heat fans that it is time for the billionaire to step up and borrow some money based on the value of his franchise and invest it back into his team. Time to stop crying a river for the wealtheist amongst fans, taxpayers and even the players.

We could have gotten a player to help alleviate some of the burden for Joel, the 1st rounder and cash we gave up.

Mike Miller bothers me too.. but let's be honest, we got the shit stomped out of us. We needed a lot more than Mike Miller to win that series. Saved Arison 15 million (luxury tax penalties plus salary).. he got 10 extra playoff home games in his pocket. Was the right move on a owner level.

We need to get younger. That simple.

What we needed in this series was a guy who can hit the open 3. Miller was that guy. I love Mike Miller but Im one of the ones who said we should have amnestied him. It was a mistake. We needed a guy like him that could rebound and hit the open 3. Yes, we got killed this series, but its a whole different series if our open guy was able to knock down the open shot.
