I agree, I hope he proves to be a steal. Make no mistake, Callahan was our best pickup outside of SM. I pray this organization is starting to "get it".

Out of HS he was a beast. 5 star stud. Then he never lived up to that hype at Bama. Lets hope we did land a steal of a pick and he continues to grow. Have a big nasty offense and defensive line is a good way to get wins in the NFL.

Not sure if he will pan out - hope so. However - in regards to your comment about Bama fans. I am surrounded by them & a lot of them are idiots. Don't get me wrong - some are good folks & know their football, but lots are not well informed especially in terms of how someone's play will translate to the next level.

If he is pushing Lauvao this early in his first camp that is great news to read. If SM felt he was a player then I'm 100% behind the pick. It's about time we hit on a 4th round OL, the league is full of them except in Ashburn for some reason.

He was a false starting machine for awhile and made mistakes often, but last year he did actually improve a good bit. Lineman get noticed by people for their mistakes.

He always had the size and everything else to be good. He was expected to be good at Alabama and he started for multiple years. Our O-Line since 2012 has considered to be a little weaker than our extremely great lines of 2011 and 2012, but it was still one of the best in college football.

He would frustrate the shit outta people with mistakes in bad times. False starts/penalties can kill drives.

"for some reason". Lol - I think that we all know the reason why 4th round picks (& 1st, 2nd, 3rd & other round picks) have not made it on the Redskins in the recent past.
