Problem is, any little hit and they're broken again - if you don't let them heal completely. Can't put 'em in a cast, either.
See Matthew Stafford. He was brought back too early, imo(and many others) and fell awkwardly in the Jets game and reinjured his shoulder. Rodgers will need plenty of time to heal, if it is in fact more serious than a shoulder strain.

Rodgers likely out three weeks.

About the same length Cutler would have been out had his MCL injury been midseason.

(I agree that blaming Rodgers is stupid, but so was blaming Cutler. Especially when it was clear his injury was affecting his performance.)

So what is the timeline for you guys to quit crying about that event? It happened during the 2010 season, time to let it go. It's seriously every week a QB gets hurt and here comes the Bears brigade whining about how everyone so badly mistreated Cutler 2 and a half freaking years ago.

If you can find another post where I bring it up, do so. I only brought it up because it was Green Bay, and as someone who lived in Madison at the time, I found it to be sweet irony.

The OP is an idiot

carry on

Nope. A smart person who makes a comparison of a similar injury (as far as length of time that should be missed) between 2 quarterbacks and shows how if one can complain about the other quitting on the team, another can complain about the other.

How about when people stop calling Cutler a whiny pussy? Yeah, let's start there.

I don't care how bad Cutler was in that game, he was bad because he got hurt for one. And two, even a bad first half by Cutler still brings hope for a better 2nd half over a 2nd and 3rd string quarterback that threw an easy pick 6 in that game.

Broken is 6-8 weeks.

Fractured is 3-4 weeks.

Those are the guidelines.

This is pretty accurate. It is all dependent upon individual healing. A little known fact about the collar bone is that it never stops growing. This typically results in faster repair.

I have broken both of mine. I can tell you that they do not heal as fast as you might think for as little as they hurt. Problem is, any little hit and they're broken again - if you don't let them heal completely. Can't put 'em in a cast, either.

This!

you can't use the phrase a "smart person" and then use this thread as your baseline

that would topple all that is logical and create a huge black hole in the universe
