Watching this team it feels like the end of the season already. Like we have already been mathematically eliminated.

The funny thing is, if we are going to have a bad outfielder in the game then I would rather have Raul out there. At least he gave us some joy at the plate. How can a team not find real outfielders in the last 5+ years? No really?

Or at least one that can play defense. Almonte has a positive dWAR but he looks uncoordinated out there to me.

I don't think it would be a curse. It is much worse than that...the actual HowChuck experience itself.

We're worse than last year because this year we had high hopes.

Not I said the fly. I haven't had high hopes for the Mariners since 2002 coming off a 2001 recording breaking year.

I honestly think we look worse this year, there are a number of players who have regressed at the plate for us (Miller and Seager come to mind) and our pitching staff has been decimated by injuries.
