Well, SS is clearly the deepest position in the MLB right now. Add to that the fact that the Giants still have about 30M to spend and there are 4 all-star caliber SS available on the market, I agree completely.

I'm happy with Crawford starting given what's currently out there. Hindsight 20/20 for sure, but that would have been awesome if we traded Wheeler for J.J. Hardy, lol.

I am pretty sure he can make the distance from ss to 1b. Unfortunately, I think Bengie Molina could beat out Zito's fastball to 1b.
