the season is still early. they will overcome those deficiencies and make the playoffs. from there it is a new season and anything can happen.

You have a pretty good junior hockey team right there in Portland with the Winter Hawks, not sure how close you are to Portland, but if you get a chance, you should check them out.

i usually see one or two winterhawk games a year. very fun to go watch. Portland is a pretty big hockey city and we should get a NHL team. instead our stupid mayor brought us a MLS soccer team. dropped our triple A baseball team to bring in a MLS team. embarrassing. many Portlanders were hoping for a NHL team or a Baseball team. I think NHL would do very well here as the Winterhawks usually draw good crowds.

but since this state already has the Oregon Ducks for a football team I figured bring up Anaheim Ducks as well and have the Portland Ducks NHL team. oregon ducks win here why can't another duck franchise win here.
