AR vs the 3/4

What can you guys tell me about AR vs 3/4 defenses? Does it even matter? Are his numbers better? worse? bout the same? Have you noticed any difference in AR vs the 3/4 compared to the 4/3? Never been a big fan of the 3/4 myself and my Bears have never run one so I'm not sure of all the nuances.

Not much difference per say. Rodgers has played rather steady against both 3/4 and 4/3 schemes. As long as our OL plays average to above AR can rip you apart.

It doesn't matter what scheme imo. Where it matters is if you blitz him or not. When you're a defense though it's one of those damned if you do damned if you don't cause he can tear you apart either way.

This. Scheme doesn't matter it's pressure and line play. If he's harassed all game most times we lose. Of course this can be said for every team and QB. 4 losses last year and it can be said 3 of them were direct results of the line not handling the pressure.
Basically if the line plays well he's carving you up no matter what scheme.

Cool, kinda what I was thinking. I know with a 3/4 you can bring blitzes from many different places, and that may effect young QBs. But AR is a vet so I can see it would mean less. Thanks for answering any way.

IMO, AR (Aaron Rodgers)needs to concern himself more with how many points the defense is allowing per game. That is what adds or takes pressure away from AR.

Ar totally sucks vs the 3-4. He usually gets flustered and discombobulated whenever a linebacker bluffs from his right, I think it has something to do with that left brain thing, and will often throw right to the first read whether they're covered or not. Sometimes he'll check to a run play because he's totally scared and not much of a competitor.

In closing, I think the Bears are going to truck the Packers in both games this year. I'm getting a 2nd mortgage on my house and am going to bet that Cutler will throw for 5 TDs in the Bear's home game this year.

Why would I limit my options on a wager when it doesn't seem Jay likes to limit the team he throws to?

The guy has enough experience that he's tough to fluster. Pressure up front works but he's mobile enough that if your secondary does't hold up he'll use his feet to beat the rush and pick you apart on the run.
