I agree with most of this. Besides, the expectations would be superbowl or bust
AR12 has 5-6 good years in him. Any team he joins will be SB or bust. That should be the expectation as it was for Tampa.

Not sure what Sherman has left, but if he was brought in to compete for a job, what would you guys hope for?

The Julie Donaldson/JDR interview all but answered this question. LC's is our SS and will play SS. What was not said verbatim was, we are being forced to play LC's due to his contract. Alas, but we are and JDR said as much. He also said Cam Curl must create his own playing time on the field of which JDR seemed confident Cam would do regardless of LC's presence. I'm thinking many sub packages to include guys like Curl, Collins, WJ3, Fuller and possibly BSJ. While Sherm's football IQ is through the roof, his age and ability have declined a bit. It's about the young guns moving forward.

I would hope we wouldn’t and our guys beat him out.

I agree with you guys, I thought he was washed in SF, and surprised.
But now he has to be really really washed, his leadership would be invaluable here, but I agree, lots of young pups to develop.

Nah you bring as much players as you can and BATTLE!!! If your planning to keep 5 CB .. would love to have Sherman at the 5th spot . Try to put as much talent as you can at your Depths because injurys happen .just Like this LT Leno yes he might not be all pro he might be just AVG . But having a starter LT vet as 2nd and 3rd string depth that might have to play spot duty and play 2 to 3 games is ok and a great move

I don’t think you understand how the cap hit works. It is still a 3.5 million dollar cap hit if you sign him for one year.

If you sign veterans to every level, you have no room for your own youth. That isn’t how longevity of success works.

I disagree i think adding depth is important do to injuries etc etc .. this is why i hate dallas draft and it makes no since draft heavy defense does not help Much those picks could be bust you are screwed and they are rookies so they will have growing pains you are screwed again. I take Mcain over Apke and Everett

How can a visit be a waster .... it is an interview. They don't have to hire him.

i know Bobby was a captain last year on Miami, but I know nothing of him being a playmaker,
also he's young and still got cut, despite not making a ton of money. He's also a SMALL guy,
i'd just rather let our younger guys battle it out, I'd feel the same way about Earl Thomas.
I get due diligence, but he doesn't appear to be a significant upgrade at S
