Almost every team has a clunker at some point during the season. Tennessee didn't play well by any means IMO, but App State is comparable to a mid level P5 program at this point.

I expect them to play much better against Va Tech and win somewhat comfortably.

We almost lost to McNeese St. one year and still ended up with 9 wins. And a fired coach albeit.

Took Ameer Abdullah late to seal the deal with a ridiculous run. I was in row 3 and all the rich fucks around me were all ho hum about what was going on and I'm thinking to myself "this would be the most embarrassing loss in Nebraska football history".

The only basis we as husker fans have for criticizing is that when we had a near miss with an FCS opponent, we weren't ranked in the top 10. That's my gripe.

It's very possible they came in with a super vanilla game plan and didn't polish up their offense outside of the base stuff they run. Can affect timing, execution etc. but that's no excuse for getting bullied by an inferior App St. front 7.

#17 ASU with Jake Plummer is a much more difficult opponent that App State and definitely more so that Mcnese St.

Tennessee was overrated to start the season AGAIN. I am not surprised. Those App St players are just fundamentally sound and were competitors. Only problem they had was that kicker. Expected to win the East...they probably will but they didn't look very good, not even like a top 25 team

So Auburn went from 6th to 18th after beating Jacksonville State by 7.

Nebraska went from 19th to unranked after beating McNeese St by a TD in the last 20 seconds of the game.

McNeese St radio call is priceless.

So really the biggest drops have occurred in more recent times. I think that's a great example of the parity in CFB these days.
