Not a fan of BR's but I've been playing a lot of this. No building, silky smooth gunplay, fast movement.

It is extremely smooth. Loce the gunplay, I acrually feel like my shots do something. I really haven’t played much though, because I am awful at it. Should practice to get better but I just don’t want to at the moment.
My major issues are, First thing: my wife has a switch and she has gotten hooked on Fortnite. The swith has no version of Apex at the moment, so I’m not going to sit on my couch and play a game my wife can’t when we enjoy playing Fortnite together.I started off bush wookie'ing the game where I'd hide from shoot outs to make it to the end.
I actually got 10x's better at the game by dropping into the hot zones and working on killing my way out of the zone.
You lose a lot, like a slot machine at the casino but every now and then, you really hit the jackpot.
Last night my buddies and I dropped in hot and I single handedly wiped the champion team and made it out of the area as the Kill Leader.
Ended up taking second in that game which sucks but that's how you get better. You just drop and embrace the chaos.
Game is a month old, most people are in your boat. Don’t feel bad at all, I was in the same position as you and as @CowpokeU said you can improve in a night or two dropping hot and working on killsMy major issues are, First thing: my wife has a switch and she has gotten hooked on Fortnite. Issue two: no solo. I am one of those people who hates bringing the team down. Every game I play is with rando’s online and they are all really good then there is me. Taking weapon bullets I shouldn’t, not knowing what area to scavenge, and ruining the game for people.
I think the game is awesome and I would love to get more into it, but for now I am just not willing to sink in the time to be mediocre much less really good.

Just upgraded to a 4K tv to show what the PS Pro can do. Kind of debating which game to replay at this point. Apex just seems like a lot of work that I’m not willing to put in.This is my biggest thing too. I join in and people have 300 kills with their toon and i have 2. lol. Then I haven't gotten drop lead yet. I deploy too early and don't land anywhere near where they want. I land in an open field. lol
They have a great idea for a Fornite competitor but they actually have to support it.Battle pass was ass
One new character, one or two new guns
Respawn studio killed all momentum of the game by giving it almost no attention when compared to Fortnite.
Look at the numbers, Fortnite is back on top again with their weekly updates and constant changing of the map + new guns (and I hate Fortnite BR)
