So, this guys did exactly what everyone WANTS.


1)He waited until after week 1 to make his ranking.
2) He did not let pre-season ranking influence him.


It is kind of refreshing.


I wish more guys did it.

A&M had a good win too but come on man is this the AP poll or the SEC poll. Coaches poll has much more credibility in my mind. These knee jerks off of one win is ridiculous. How do we know USCe is any good. Not to bag on Aggie but you may have beat a good team or a cupcake. We just don't know yet.

don't take that as a slight at all. 100% agree with you. Need at least a few weeks worth of games to see how good a team is and how good the competition is.

It's pretty clear the main consideration for him is MOV. But his rankings make no sense. He has a winless West Virginia ahead of undefeated teams because they lost a close game to Bama? Really?

His rankings are based on his own personal biases, as everyone else's is. But there's no rhyme or reason to his rankings.......in short, they're bullshit

Depends on what he is trying to say. Are these the rankings after just this week, or where he thinks people will actually be when all is said and done? OSU looked better than a lot of teams they are ahead of, so not a leap to think that at the end of the season they aer around #11.
