Turner likes muti purpose backs. I think me an gk predicted this way back when but im unsure. It somewhat of a surprise but I can see why it was done.

I guess the youth movement is well underway at WFT park.

With the oline the WFT has, misdirection and deception are going to be crucial for the offense to have success.

Though AP did awfully well here for two years, he also made it pretty easy for the defense to figure out what was coming.

Sorry to see All Day go, but wish him well and hope he lands on a team with higher aspirations than ours.

I don't think this is a big surprise. The multi-dimensional backs help a young QB who might be short on talent in some other areas. AP was a line him up 7 yards deep I back. People slammed Gruden last year for recognizing that. Using the RBs in multiple ways helps Haskins and it helps the better WRs in finding some room.

Yes he will if he is healthy . Yes Gibson will get a lot of snaps. But love and his speed and catching ability he will be there

I have to admit I didn't see this coming. Not this season anyway. Love is inexperienced, Guice jettisoned, Gibson a rookie and Barber & McKissick. He is likely the strongest work horse of that group but didn't fit the offense. I guess I understand it but I would imagine it was an extremely tough cut by the staff.

I would like to add... what a class act by Rivera to release AP a day early so other teams could re-examine their RB groups before cut down day tomorrow with all other teams.
Quite the opposite of our latest coach who administered AP's only inactive of his career. Culture is changing...

Rivera said the same thing I said and the same thing Gruden said last year. You put AP, he lines up 7 yards deep and the D has a good idea what is going to happen and how to defend it. It is the only reason he is gone, it has nothing to do with his work ethic or how they feel about him as a person. They had to weigh that against his having a positive affect in the locker room.

Agree that it was the right thing to do to let him go a day early. He will play somewhere again.
