Scott Wolf strikes again. Oregon beats #7 by 19 and drops from 3 to 6 on his ballot
I can't believe anyone let's him write let alone vote.

Bwahahaha! They will have a grand time when we get to the end of the season, and there are two undefeated teams and six one-loss teams. Expanding the playoff will only serve to increase the controversy as it will further lower the barrier to inclusion, and thus increase the number of teams who claim to have surpassed that threshold.I think they will. This is the first year of the CFP, and the CFP Committee wants to establish good credibility and avoid controversy, which they get by matching their eventual selections with #s 1-4. If they don't select the same as #s 1-4, then they will face a lot more criticism, which they won't want.

Yep. FSU are the reigning champs. Until they are beaten they should stay #1 unless they lay eggs against duds multiple times. That is fine.

The committee doesn't care one bit about the Coaches or AP Poll it will have ZERO effect on there votes. In fact the committee's votes will be far more data driven then the bias coaches, and ap polls.

All I know is even with some of the bitching, if the current teams in the top 4 make the playoffs, it will be EPIC.
Storylines GALORE!
Oregon would finally GET BAMA.
Florida St would get a chance to FINALLY beat those pesky Sooners en route to another chance at a title.
Scintillating!
I didn't think there would be anything more satisfying than watching Urban Meyer's team get their asses kicked @ home.... but the more I think about it, the only thing that would top it is watching Saban cry about the speed of the game after Oregon packs their shit in.
Would make my season.. Please God..
Last night should've made your season....no need to get greedy.
As a Hokies fan, God hasn't been too kind to us... He owes us. Last night was the sundae... And I'd like it topped with a cherry dipped in Saban's tears.![]()
