have some OT coming our way huh?... too bad I don't really know either one of these teams...

Watch Carlson, Alzner, Perreault, and Neuvirth on the Bears. You'll likely be seeing all or most of them against your Pens next year.

Wooo!!! Bears win in OT. What a phenomenal game from both teams. The Bears head home for the final two games with a 3-2 series lead and win an AHL record 8th game in OT in this year's playoffs. This team is writing team and league records left and right.

With a win at home, the Bears will win their 2nd straight Calder and their 3rd in 5 years.

figures I missed the goal...

as long as the caps organization doesn't translate the bears success into caps success, I am happy. keep it in the AHL.

DAMN!! I'm so pissed I missed the game! I decided to take a nap, and asked my GF to wake me up. She did, but I Fell back asleep on the couch. Anyway, seems like it was a amazing game! Wish I had seen it though :(

I love AHL hockey. I have followed it since the Buffalo Bisons where there but we were a farm team for the Rangers.

The Bisons did have great success tho and always drew great crowds.

Yeah, he played a great game. It was an odd ending with the puck landing in Giroux's hand and then him waltzing in via the accidental "pick" by Perreault. It was almost like a basketball play. :)

But the Bears played some great hockey and certainly deserved a bounce to go their way. On a related note, Giroux has about the softest wrister I've ever seen. I don't know how he scores sometimes, but he does.

When are Giroux and Aucoin going to get called up? They have to be in their thirties by now or close to them. It must be their size holding them back.
