Hi everyone, I was wondering what your thoughts are on UWs loss to SC? I was disappointed that the Trojans dominated the game from the start.

I'm bummed that i crashed early tonight and missed the end. Same with michigan game. You all will be alright, though. If UW doesnt make the playoff this season, they gotta be a favorite for next season

Huskies defense just isn't quit ready for prime time... they need to bolster there pass rush and yesterday they really got exposed there... Definitely a program on the rise though, I think in the next year or 2 they have a serious shot at a national title, but they HAVE to improve the defense, especially the pass rush ...

That's what will make the Apple Cup interesting... The Cougs have one of the best OL's in the Pac 12 but one of the better ones in the country... Especially in pass pro....Their LG is rated as the 2nd best LG in the country...

Rough game to watch as a Husky fan. The defense got torched up the middle, USC's QB had all day to throw and the Husky running game disappeared. I thought maybe they were running outside early to spread SC's defense out so they could run inside later, but that never really happened. Browning had his worst game of the season and his interceptions were avoidable.

On the bright side, four other top 10 teams lost this week, which kept Washington from dropping too far down in the polls. On the downside, the Cougars won last night, so the Huskies have to win out just to win the Pac-12 North now.

A lot of people seem to put this on the defense, but USC had a blocked punt that helped them out and the safety at the end. Most had USC scoring 20-25 points so they were right about where you thought they would be.

The problem was the offense. It was horrible. Line wasn't blocking at all for the run game and gave up quite a few sacks. Then Browning just had a bad game.

You can't score 13 at home and win many games at the college level. That's just not good enough.

This. The defense had some weak spots, but they also made some big plays, and definitely kept the game winnable. This one was on the offense.

Offense has some issues also agreed, but that pass rush by the Huskies was non existent... that is something they have to address or getting to a national title game is gonna be a difficult thing..

They haven't had that same killer pass rush since Mathis went down and he's not coming back until at least after new years day. So you have what you have on defense until then.

It's time for the staff to start scheming a bit more with the blitz packages and whatnot and realize their ability to just rush with 4 is basically over.

Still, you can't throw two picks and have so little rushing against a team like that at home. This was easily 90% on the offense or should we say the offense and special teams. The Defense wasn't great, but wasn't terrible either.

SC dominated and have been playing the best football in the nation the past 5 weeks if you ask me. That team now would give Alabama everything they could handle. It's to bad it took them this long to get going though or Alabama might also have a loss.

USC was the better team. I was very disappointed in Jake Browning. He under threw a few key passes that could have been big gains or crucial touchdowns for the Huskies.

I'm still not giving up hope on making the top 4. As we saw with what happened Saturday with the #2, #3, and the #4 team losing, anything can happen in college.

We'll need a lot of help and we'll need to win out and do it in dominant style. If anything a Rose Bowl would be a good consolation prize for this season. But being THIS close to a chance at a playoff birth makes the USC loss so demoralizing especially with game day being on red square and the national spotlight on us.

On the bright side, Louisville just got crushed by Houston. They'll be moving back down in the polls.

There done and need one more team in the top 4 to lose. Huskies better come out and roll ASU.

OSU and Michigan will still play each other, and it's not like both of them can be Big10 champs. If UW bounces back and wins out, they could very well be right back in the top 4.

That's true. I wouldn't seeing Clemson drop another one.
