Anyone going to the USGP in Austin?

If I can jew my way out of missing work Ill be there.

My father is going and has limited pit access due to his connections to Total/elf. I hope I can get free.

I hope I can get free, I went to the first USGP in Indy when I was younger and had a blast. Any other hooplans gonna be there?

I hear that the hotels in the area are gouging the holy heck out of the fans.

For ten years, I owned a house just three blocks N. of IMS. It was soo cool to be able to walk out my front door & be in my seats for the 500, Brickyard or USGP fifteen minuets later!

Looking forward to seeing how this weekend's GP goes.

The hotels do that everywhere.... It sucks to pay 250.00 a night for a 65.00 a night room.
