Was on ticketmaster at 9:45 waiting for 10 with the page all loaded up. The second 10 hit I refreshed and hit order and got absolutely nothing. I had a friend who did the exact same thing to try to luck out if one of us was shut out and they got the same result.

Immediately tried for a less popular game, since the first was SF/SEA and nothing was available again. It's mind-blowing to me that 10s of thousands of tickets disappeared in a matter of probably 3 minutes.

Ridiculous

Hackers Charged in Ticketmaster Fraud : UnRated NYC

Seahawks and other top sports teams are always going to get slammed by the ticket bots. Especially this year with the demand at a all time high for Seahawks games. Unless you have season tickets, good luck at 10am on sale day. They are all gone in seconds by automated buying programs. Ticketmaster doesn't give a rats ass because they still get their commissions no matter what.

Here the gentleman getting filthy rich from India selling a version of this bot software shows you how to do it. Now imagine them doing this from hundreds of machines setup anytime tickets for popular events go on sale.

I've been doing craigslist for years and find it's the best. Ticketmaster usually has nothing left in the mid field seats (I require this so I can actually tell what the heck is going on both sides of the field) and it's a bear to get to any of the pages because everyone is on it.

Yeah, I tried online with the same results. Then I tried to call and got the runaround there too.

This is kinda what I suspected was going on and it should be illegal. Capitalism, my ass! They're ruining a part of being a fan to make a buck (actually a lot more than a buck)

You can get a ticket on stubhub, but expect to pay a bit more then face value. I bought tickets for the 49ers game a while ago and those tickets are rising in value.

I hoping some games turn out to be way less and trying to decide to wait or buy now.

Geez I should have bought my tickets to the 49ers game a month or so ago...they are through the roof now...

I'm wondering if it might go down a bit later or is it going to continue to rise. Not trying to drop 350-400 on a ticket and see it at 200 a month or two from now lol

A 49er vs Seahawk game, I would not count on the price going down, if anything it's going up. I bought two tickets at midfield a while back for $360 and the section I bought the tickets is going up...slowly for now, I'm betting it goes up up up.

Just wait until a day or so before the game. All these guys with hordes of tix have already made a crazy profit and will be just trying to break even on what they have left.

Not only should the fans be pissed, but the Seahawks organization should be pissed as well. If someone is going to be selling these tickets for 2x the face value, I would at least much prefer that money to go to the team I root for instead of some faceless corporation trying to gouge people for profit

Its not just à Seahwk problem, or even an NFL problem. What Régent pointed out happens with any high demand event.

The Hawk home schedule really isn't jacked up big time prime time games except for the
whiners and Saints. I also look forward to the Buc game because as mentioned I think TB wins the
South. Don't laugh. :lock1: Road games at Carolina which is going to be tough and Bevell
can't be conservative. Zona on a Thurs night, Rams on a Monday night, Indy, Houston, Atlanta and
SF.

I just picked up tickets on the 50 yd line for game #14 in New York. It'll be big time in the Big Apple.
Dec 15th in the cold weather, decked in Hawk gear... Jam!

That's the way to do it in situations like this, although SF game is the hottest ticket of the year. Expect small availability and prices will be higher than any other game on the reseller sites like stubhub and ebay no matter what.

Last couple days, prices for many events will come down as sellers holding tix start getting desperate. Look for the ones that are offering eTickets. You can buy those right up until your leaving to go to the game. Print them up. Good to go.

My strategy is to buy a ticket for the 49er game early and take my chances with the rest. The 49er game is going to be such a hot ticket that waiting will mean lousy seat and more then you thought they would be. After that play the market.

Not to say I'm experienced at this. It's just IMO.

Lowest priced ticket available on stubhub is now $268 for upper level corner last rows. I'm not expecting prices to come down too much closer to game time, but 3,879 tickets are up for sale so there is some availability and probably will be right up to game. My god, they got charter seats listed over $1000 and some lower bowl seats for 3,300.

Dear god.

Yeah that's obviously gonna be the game to see. I might still have an in since my buddy has seasons tix and I told him to ask the people next to him if they'd be willing to sell their tix to me for $200. They sometimes use tickets closer to the field and maybe their 300 level seats would be available. We'll see. Otherwise I don't see that SF game price coming down much. For the Dec 23 game last season the same friends had an offer of over $300 each for their 2 $84 tickets. Gonna be at least that now.
