The Browns are an interesting bunch. With Gordon out, they should have a top 10(5?) draft pick, and because of the Watkins trade, they have Buffalo's number one pick next year as well. They also get Gordon back and will have a year under Johnny Football's belt. In a year or two, things might get interesting up there

But, they are the browns. So they will waste the picks

No...I'm sure it wasn't. Maybe it was on ESPN. I liked Mallett that year better than all 3 of Locker, Gabbert, and Ponder. So far it's kind of a push as none have done anything

My understanding is Veterans (4 years) are FAs immediately after being cut. All others are on waivers for 24 hours. If no one claims them then they can become FAs. So the Steelers had to claim Webb, not sign him. If the Texans had also claimed him he would be a Texan.

You may be right

6th??? I would have guessed 4th. For a 6th I think hard about offering and dropping Vaughn. I guess Hou 6th is like a 5th if they don't turn it around. then again, our pick isn't worth too much less than Houston's...

If it were a 6th rounder, I would have made that deal all day. Next year, if the Cowboys decide to draft a QB, I seriously doubt someone with that kids arm will be sitting there in the 6th round....Interesting team for Mallet to go to, only a year removed from being a playoff team

You know early reports involving trades are usually off a little

Broaddus just said no truth to the rumors that we were in on Mallet. We just got Hawkins an OL from Cleveland- cut Wetzel
