Ive been out all day , only seen who we cut. Any word if we are looking at anyone???
And then don't forget, assuming a team didn't go below 53 players they need to cut a guy if they sign another guy. So for teams like us with guys like Heath and Lawrence that do nothing but STs, the ability to improve those spots should be there.
you cant tell me that there are not better players out there than Randle,Clutts,Heath,Wetzel,Hayden etc. These player suck. Heath is probably the worst safety in Cowboys history.
Assuming everyone got to 53, lets say 50 FAs sign today- that means 50 more new FAs available right. EX- lets say we get 2 players today, we will have to cut 2 others.
For the most part, yes, but not exactly. For example, some guys could still be moved to IR.
What about the Houston question- Do they get whoever they want- or after they get 1, they move to the back of the line??
Common sense would say that they make a pick and then the #2 team is up like the draft, but if I remember from previous years (it may have changed in the new CBA) each player goes on waivers independently and Hou can take them all. Sounds dumb and may be wrong, but I thought that was how it worked. But remember, they need to drop a player for each player they pick up.
Well claims were suppose to be in by 10 AM central time , so we will know likely this afternoon I would think.
I doubt we sign any vet's until after week two, since their contracts would be guaranteed this year if we did...unless that rule changed this offseason
should be some bottom roster turn over all season.
Surely #38 days are numbered in Dallas
