I never draft until after the last preseason game. Would probably suggest the Monday before Thursday night kickoff for draft date. I'm not opposed to 14 man rosters either.

IR is in case you have a guy who is injured, but you don't want to drop him but would like to free up the roster space. Players can come off IR anytime, but can only be placed on IR with an injury status, and must come off when they no longer are listed as injured on teams injury report. I have personally found it to be pretty useful.

Bragging rights it is! I don't honestly feel like dealing with the money aspect of it, and I would like as many to participate as possible - up to 14 teams.
