Curious if any IDPers in her (or pats fans for this question)

My league carries 2 DBs, 2 LBs & 2 DL.

With this year has been crazy for my defense. I have lost all 6 of them to injuries (& one suspension)
So while I am waiting to see if Parsons comes back (he probably wont) I have to replace both DL this week. My other guy that replaced an injured player is on a bye week this week.
I am scrambling (just lost Wilkins to IR) to pick up new DL (again)
I am looking at this guy Jaquelin Roy who actually had a good game last week (think it is his 1st game came from PS) DT for NE.
He had 3 solo, one assist & one sack in his 1st game up. Which are good pts for DL in my league.
Anyone know anything about this guy? Could use a little luck for once this year LOL.

Geesh, I play some idp... but none deep enough to know much about this guy. If you're having to dig that deep, I wish you luck

I play a couple leagues with idp, one is a dynasty idp but only 10 teams. We have a roster of 40 I believe. Most teams mainly use the bench for offensive players or team defenses. IDP’s don’t get too deep and the WW is full

Not hip to Roy, but with Ed Oliver banged up, DeWayne Carter played great against Houston last week.

My league also starts 2 DL, 2 LB, and 2 DB plus a flex. I feel like there has to be better options than this guy on the wire.

Here's my tip:

If youre having trouble deciding just pick the guy on the WORSE defense since he'll be on the field longer.

is Oliver out this week too? I might do this. For at least one of my two DL replacements for this week. :(

Can you give us the top 5 or 10 guys available in your league? I could be wrong, but unless you guys have super deep benches or a whole lot of teams in the league, I feel like you should have no problem finding something better than an injury replacement to plug in.

Holy crap.
I only have 6 defensive players, but dont have any original players starting, Right now. (I do have 2 sitting on IR)
My Star DB (pointswise) just got wiped out tonight. That makes 11 injured defenders from my team & one suspended player. That is double the amount on my team. Can I please keep a starter for more than a couple weeks fantasy football gods!

Every week I am changing out injured players.
This week I lost two defensive players.
Never had a season like this LOL

You guys better start paying me to not pick players on your team(s)

So, in my league, we don't have a lot of bench spots and we start 7 IDPs. It is rare for me to have an IDP on my bench, unless there is a stud on bye (even though I dumped Nick Bolton a couple of weeks ago for his bye and got out bid to get him back). Despite this set back, I did a good job of grabbing LBers who have already had their bye week... until today. Ernest Jones got traded from Tennessee to Seattle and picks up his 2nd bye week of the year.

I am more venting about the bye week situation above, but my question for you guys is how long will it take for him to get acclimated in his new home? Seattle runs a similar defense to Tennessee in regards to what they expect from their MLB, so it shouldn't take long. But should I dump him for someone on the wire (a decent amount of decent options) or take the possible dud from lack of playing time and hope he picks it up quickly and starts putting up points? I feel like he could be very good coming down the stretch.

Here are the top few available if that helps...

Devin Lloyd
Bobby Okereke
Blake Cashman (injured)
Tremaine Edmunds (had his bye)
Justin Strnad (filled in nicely after Singleton went down)
Payton Wilson (rookie gaining playing time and doing well with it)

I'd expect one down game as he gets acclimated

I would go with Denvers or Pits LB myself.
Probably lean towards Strnad.
If Pits offense continues to improve under the QB change. Less time for their defense to be on the field.
Dont see much change on Denver's Offense.

LOL
My curse for picking up players & then they get hurt is unreal this season.
Picked up a DB this week to obviously replace an injured player.
He got hurt yesterday & was ruled out today. Scrambled to replace him just now.
Now they arent even making it to the game before getting hurt!:pound:
Which I guess is better for me, but this is a crazy season.

My apologies to Niner fans since I just added Mustapha to my hitman list!

I might be partially to blame on this one, since I texted my buddies that Mustapha was laying the wood vs the Chiefs, he got burned on a pass, run over by Mahomes for a TD, and now hurt
