Evidence is pretty damning against Fluker receiving illegal benefits. Shit...he even admitted it on twitter. However, NCAA has a huge boner for the SEC. Any chances they get penalized?

It'd make my day, but I doubt it.
The wins would be vacated, not forfeited.

Latest from CBS (I know, can't give the old place up), Miss. St.'s player and former player are cooperating with an internal investigation, Bama is circling the wagons, er, lawyering up.

Its a bit to early to speculate what the NCAA will do, if anything. Conventional wisdom says they won't f with the golden goose that is SEC football. But this stuff really stinks, players flashing bills in pictures, I remember the uproar with Fluker's (what now seems damning) tweet where the defense was it was all a joke (or was it). I think at worst, they would declare Fluker ineligible, in which case the wins in games he played in would be vacated, but not forfieted. Therefore, ND would not be declared the winner, nor would GA in the SEC championship game, etc.

Ol' St. Nick didn't look like much of a Saint under those reporters' questions.

I like how he says "they'll deal with it appropriately, I'm only here to coach." Really Nick? That's the extent of your 'control' over the program huh? I guess he can't put players in a timeout without a note from the A.D.?

Instead of punishing the culprits the NCAA will just decide it's now ok to pay the players. Can't rock the establishment. Reggie Bush, Cam Newton, D.J. Fluker, Johnny Manziel,Tyler Bray amateurs, yah right. How will the running punchline NCAA handle this farce?

I actually understood why Nick was putting the focus on this week. Unreal.

There's No crying in Baseball and there's no tarnishing the SEC in the NCAA. Sanction prediction: Alabama can only grey shirt recruit 20 additional players vs the usual 60...for one semester.
