I'd say 0% Pannachio is reporting Gags waived his NTC to goto the Kings. Who the hell would want the Habs trash forwards? Outside cammilerri and Plenkanek that is they are pretty legit the rest are way too streaky to be relied on but you'll find that out this year when Price is giving up 3 a game and you can't score to save your lives.

It seems like it doesn't involve a goalie, and if it doesn't it has to be pretty much 100% a cap-clearing move, right?

See that is where it gets fuzzy for me cause there are 2 directions...

A. Trade gags to La for Bernier and a pick/prospect
B. Trade Gags to La for a cheap young wing(2-3 mill max I would assume) and a pick/prospect.

I think right now it all sits on how LA values their players and what Kovaldouche does before the deal is made. Gags and Kovy though.

Assuming it isn't for one of the goalies, it would probably be for a pick and a prospect or a pick and a role player (BECAUSE WE NEED MORE OF THOSE).

i agree. i think it is the second option and they will sign nabokov or turco.

I'd probably prefer A. I don't trust Nabokov or Turco as far as I can throw them, so I wouldn't mind getting a real goalie chance.

That said, I understand that it is that, a chance. And I don't think LA is stupid enough to do it.

Well see that is why I'm so confused honestly LA already has Quick who won what 39 games last year?, then they have Bernier who is supposed to be a monster in goal, and then they have some prospet who is supposed to be better then both from what I hear(sorry not familar with their farm system enough to name him). So goal is one position their set on, their D is kinda weak and their O needs a boost too so trading one of 3 goalies for help in another department seems reasonable i think it just comes down to price really and I feel Homer will make the best move available for the team. I'm just hoping that doesn't mean signing anothr 35+ contract.
