So I run 3 leagues outside of the other 5 leagues I'm in, and had to make a pretty tough call last night in one of them. It's a 6-keeper league and for the last two weeks I've sent multiple notices to all owners about setting their keepers by yesterday and about the draft date and time. I went in to confirm all keepers last night and noticed the guy that won the league last year hadn't selected any keepers. I sent him one last message and gave him until 10pm(which was almost 24 more hours than the rest of the league got) but he still did not set them. I know he receives the emails bc he confirmed his team for the league.
He will still have 6 picks before anyone gets to make their first pick, so conceivably he could get his guys back, but if he doesn't make the draft, he may not get exactly who he wanted to keep if the comp auto picks.
I felt bad doing that, but the draft is Thursday and its only fair the other 11 teams get a day or so to see the available players and construct a draft "plan". Would you all have done the same thing?
And what are some of the tough decisions you've had to make as commish?
