Looks like it might be a parft of a small harness, but smaller than any of my critters. Maube for ponies. I'll check email.View attachment 192671
He said $40 for all
Here's another that I didn't make. I had a co-worker come into town for a few days and after work he pounded this out. Took two nights for him to make this.
Here's the one from post #6 I'm finishing up. I'll finish staining and sealing the handle in the morning then sharpen it.

Love the look of the rasp teeth in it.Here's another I'm finishing up... Ferriers rasp, which starts out with a good shape, but is hard to move because it's already been hardened. Still gotta finish the handle shaping/sanding and put an edge on it.
He’s a Smith.HUh? The opposite of Iron & Fire?
Hmm looks like you really need two if you want to have some fun. It's 110#, but it was my buddies. $220 would not be a bad price for one that size. You can't find them around here. My current one is 70# and not nearly the anvil, but it's going to be tightly secured to a base that weighs about 100#, so it will be solid. As you know, it's all in the weight. Once you get over 100 - 150 lbs it doesn't seem to make that much of a difference imo.
There are some guys around here using H beams.True but the only ones around here that I've found have benn 55lbs and 60lbs. they want over $130 for them. I'm to the point now that I may just make my own out of some railroad track.
And a Pre-Emmitnent one, at that!He’s a Smith.
You know, I used to work with his sister. She looked like him with boobs. And a Pre-Emmitnent one, at that!
