With cut downs looming, I figure we may hold off signing until we see what gets let go.

That is exactly what I expect to happen too. There is no reason for us to sign a LB today. After the 30th I think there will be a lot of talent out there. I expect us to try and get 2 or 3 guys on defense and an OT too that will end up on our final 53 man roster or at worst our PS.

I don't listen to anything Jerry says about any player. I think Carter's fate is in McClain's hands. If McClain starts Carter won't. I think at some point during the year McClain may win a starting job, but I don't think right now he is physically and mentally prepared to do so.

JJ is just talking about how great all of the other LBs have been so far and that's the reason we haven't heard about Bruce that much ha. Him or his son then said Bruce will never live up to all the hype because he is one of the best athletes in the Nfl. As far as MCClain, he will take over at some point. He just needs to get healthy and in shape. I really don't think he will quit this time unless his body just can't handle it.
