I feel for the Niners, we once had a used car sleezeball for an owner. So much for winning with class. This is the guy who fired Harbaugh 4 years 49 wins. They got a great team and a dedicated fan base, but the CEO leaves much to be desired. Maybe in a year or two, mom and dad will take his football play set away from him.

Age discrimination is a very big deal. Many of us give 20-40 years of our blood sweat and tears to a company with the hope that they will still respect and value us in our later years. I hope non of you guys ever have to get the speech about going in a different direction after you have given all you had.

We will very likely never know exactly how the whole thing went down. Except maybe years from now when Harbaugh writes a book or something. But it sounds like the rift was there before the season started when they wouldn't give him an extension. Great way to run a franchise. Make your head coach a lame duck.
