In the NFL, they don't hand out trophies for participation.

In the game with Tampa Bay----

The Cowboys, had more total yards on offense.
They had more passing yards.
They actually had more rushing yards.
They had more first downs.
They were better on third down conversions.
They had more total downs.
They had less penalty yards.
They had more time of possession.

The COWBOYS had 1 turnover to the Bucs 4

You would think with those stats, the COWBOYS win..

But there was one slight problem.
The COWBOYS in the RED ZONE were 1 out of 4
The Bucs were 3 out of 5.

Same old COWBOYS.

And by the way, what was the stupidity of the COWBOY'S last play?
If the COWBOYS throw deep and get a pass interference call on the defense, they may have had a chance to get a winning field goal.
Put Cooper Rush in, to throw a long pass. McCarthy is just brilliant.

I think I heard a stat on the COWBOY'S radio broadcast.
The COWBOYS are 1 and 22 when losing at half time over the last three seasons.

And La'el Collins has been suspended for 5 games.
Now we got the season going. It is the official start of a COWBOY season.

Up to a certain point, I agree with you.
Although, I would like to see COWBOY'S RED ZONE numbers, over the last 5 seasons.

But the COWBOYS did have control of their own destiny

The COWBOYS, had the ball 1st and 10 on the Bucs 34 (1:54 left). And I believe the Bucs had only one timeout left.
If the COWBOYS get one more 1st down, the COWBOYS probably win the game.

2020 happened because half the offense was on injured reserve. 2018 happened because Dak had no receivers until Amari was obtained. The TE situation in 2018 in flux. I am not trying to defend the Cowboys here as they obviously need to be better in the red zone. When you got a scrub like Steele playing OT the red zone percentage is going to suffer. This dude cant block anybody
