Saints fired HC Dennis Allen.
The Saints started the season with a 2-0 record while outscoring opponents 91-29. Since then, the team has lost seven straight games while looking increasingly uncompetitive, but the final straw was Week 9’s 23-22 loss to the Panthers. Allen did his best to rebuild his reputation as the former Raiders’ coach who went 8-28 from 2012-2014, and at times, appeared to have the Saints moving in the right direction. Last year he delivered a 9-8 season after winning four of his team’s final five games, but this is clearly a roster that’s trending toward a complete overhaul. The team is expected to name special teams coach Darren Rizzi, who interviewed for the Saints’ head coaching job in 2022, as its interim head coach. Allen’s tenure with the Saints went just over two seasons, and his final record with the team is a disappointing 18-25. It seems unlikely he would be a candidate for any head coaching jobs in the future after two failed stints.

Sounds good

Stefanski gets another year imo. This has been a dumpster fire but hes done well overall.
Im honestly not sure how a team reacts to the worst QB decision of all time.

Maybe the closest team in recent memory was the Atlanta Falcons giving a ton of money to Matt Ryan and then just spending two years blowing things up.

He should come back to Denver. We need to bring some of that 2011 magic back. Sure, his defense that year was kinda dog turd, but we don’t need him to be DC…

Its absolutely ridiculous that their GM Loomis was allowed to make the announcement and wasnt the first one fired.

We should probably identify which teams need to get rid of the front office and which need to get rid of the coach and if it's front office the coach is probably gone as most new GMs what their guy as coach...IE is it a organization issue or coach issue.

New England - My guess is both are safe for now, but they really do need to get some talent in there.
Jacksonville - Coach is gone for sure, then the GM will need to get the right guy and talent or he won't be far behind
New Orleans - The GM should probably go as they have some real cap issues with all the pushing forward they've done for years. Time to blow it up and start over. That cap is screwed for a couple years, so young talent via the draft is probably only available route forward.
Carolina - The owner will probably keep the coach and GM, what he really needs to do is stay the hell out of the football decisions and be an owner.
Cleveland - If the GM is the guy that traded for Watson, it should and probably will cost him his job. I think the coach is ok unless the GM goes, then it's up to the new GM.
Las Vegas - GM is new and coach was appointed as interim. They probably won't make a move, but they need a real plan to get talent in Vegas
NY Giants - I don't think they have a bad coach, but what the hell is their plan? I'm not sure what it is, but I doubt either goes away this year.
Miami - I don't think either goes away this year, but they have a problem with their QB. If he can't stay healthy, they're both probably done next year
Tennessee - I'm guessing they're both safe this year, sold the owner on a rebuild and that's what they're doing.
Chicago - I added this in because the other coaches in this division appear to be solid coaches, I'm not sure he is and the grumbling in Chicago is he needs to go.

Look at their cap for 25 and 26...355 commited for 25 and 280 for 26 ... and talent is lacking.... this is going to be a total rebuild and they really need to stop extending their guys as it's killing them...falling in love with the players you have is their biggest issue...and those guys getting hurt or not producing isn't helping at all

Realize a terrible decision, but when they take into account they have been pretty good otherwise AND a dozen or so teams tried to make the same decision I think coach and GM get another year at least.

Moving on from either could be a careful what you wish for deal especially if both were to go. Then you'd have Haslam hiring the next guys.

IF they made a move (and I hope we do not) guess couldn't kill them if Vrabel is the replacement......but he was a disaster his last 1.5 years in TN.

The big miss was losing Bill to Tennessee. The OL is missing him.

But something is missing this year, not just deshaun being ass.
