Another big blown lead. If the game is close in the 4th quarter, Shanahan will find a way to loseYikes this is becoming way to common
When I saw the score late in the 4th quarter at 23-21, Niners I knew with 100 percent certainty that they would loseYikes this is becoming way to common
Its inexplicable that they don't run the ball in the red zone with Mason.Too many field goals early on, kept them in the game. This is similar to the Rams game.
While the defense wasn't stout, they provided the turnovers that should've been enough. ST's didn't make multiple mistakes and even scored a TD, this should've been more than enough had the offense score one more TD vice FG.
Granted, IMO allowing the returner to reach Moody was a ST's error.
In Johnny Del's breakdown, he showed they did run Mason in the RZ and not just once. However, he didn't anticipate the hole where blocking was going to happen? He was supposed to let the blocking continue and hit the hole whether he gained 2, 3, or 4 yards, but he went on his own too early and ran into defenders. Mason did this multiple times in this game. Its inexplicable that they don't run the ball in the red zone with Mason.
Yep, the offense made too many mistakes and couldn't capitalize.Three TO's + 0 points in second half = loss. Disgusting loss on a disgusting weather day.
That probably explains some of itIn Johnny Del's breakdown, he showed they did run Mason in the RZ and not just once. However, he didn't anticipate the hole where blocking was going to happen? Apparently, the run defense is more condensed and there are more defenders anticipating the hole, shooting gaps? So in the RZ Mason needs to stay disciplined to where the blocking is going to occur. This is where CMC is missed, he always goes where he's supposed to go, whether he gets 0 or 5 yards..
