Lee is plenty healthy. He was ready to go against Kansas already the coaches said "if needed."

He came in against Colorado and ran and threw just fine.

They said he was near 100% against Kansas though.

After the Kansas game Bo Pelini said during the post game that Zac was ready to go if needed and that he was near 100%.

He said the same after the A&M game.

Then against Colorado he played the entire 4th quarter, and it was obvious that he was just fine. He threw the ball with zip and accuracy.......there was nothing wrong with him.

I think they were afraid that he would completely melt under pressure........I know one thing for sure, we needed someone who could plant out there, and Martinez obviously couldn't do that. I would have been happy if Burkhead would have played QB the rest of the game, that is how ineffective Taylor was for us.

Rex was our best option, and IMO should have played at least the full 4th quarter in the wildcat.

I just can't get over the fact that we were in field goal range and all we needed was for Rex to run the ball straight forward...........it seems like every person living in this state had that figured out, except one person........and unfortunately that one person was sitting upstairs with a headset on.

It's just unbelievable.........you have one of the best defenses in the country to rely on stopping OU.......so just tie up the game and take your chances on overtime. To me that move to let Taylor drop back and pass there (only to fumble the ball) summed up Watson's entire head scratching career here.

10/11 news reported tonight that Watson is meeting with Vanderbilt very soon. He had a phone interview (which was Sunday) and he passed that. He's pretty good at fooling people to get them to think that he's smart so hopefully he can keep it up.
